Segundo a proposta do Governo para o Orçamento de Estado de 2013, as empresas passam a entregar o IVA ao Estado apenas depois de receberem dos clientes as quantias correspondentes às faturas emitidas.
Atualmente, as empresas são obrigadas a entregar ao Estado o valor do IVA respeitante à faturação emitida, independentemente, de terem ou não recebido dos seus clientes.
Esta medida, vai contribuir para o alívio financeiro de milhares de empresas em Portugal, especialmente micro e pequenas empresas.
