As novas Tabelas de Retenção de IRS para 2012, apresentam um agravamento significativo na maior parte dos escalões, penalizando em particular os contribuintes que mantenham o subsídio de férias e de Natal. Os contribuintes que ficaram sem estes subsídios (cfr. art.º 21.º Lei n.º 64-B/2011) vão descontar menos IRS mensalmente durante 2012.
